Vaccination

We advise vaccinating puppies and adult dogs to give them vital protection against several infectious diseases- Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Leptospirosis.  Vaccinations against common causes of Kennel Cough are also available.  Our friendly and knowledgeable Vets and Veterinary Nurses will be happy to advise you on a vaccination schedule tailored to your pet and their lifestyle/risk factors.  This will typically include a course of three puppy vaccinations (minimum 6 weeks of age), followed by a yearly booster vaccination.

Cats and kittens should be protected against common causes of cat flu (herpes virus and calicivirus) as well as panleukopenia and Feline Leukaemia Virus.  This is achieved with an initial vaccination course from 9 weeks of age (two vaccines given 3-4 apart), followed by a yearly booster.
